We offer several different printing options.

For newspapers and magazines there is basic coldset web printing and for higher quality requirements we have heatset web printing. heatset printing is generally on gloss stock, although it's still possible to do heatset on regualr stocks.

Web-offset presses provide consistent, high-quality printing for medium to long runs.
Web offset is the ideal process for printing publications requiring the quick turnaround afforded by digital computer-to-plate technology at an affordable price.

Web printing refers to the printing on a continuous roll of paper (or some other substrate) rather than printing on individual sheets as a sheetfed press does.
The web press is similar to the sheetfed press in that it contains an infeed section, printing units and delivery section.
However, because the web prints rolls the various sections are different from those used on a sheetfed press.

Web presses are also capable of running at very high speeds - in some cases as high as 70,000 copies an hour, so as runs get longer, economies of scale come into play and price per paper can drop substantially.

Heatset is generally better quality as it can be printed on higher quality, gloss stocks.
As the printed sheet is being forcibly dried as it leaves the press, it is less prone to set-off (ink transferring from one page to another) and less vulnerable to ink rub (where ink can be rubbed or smudged across the paper).
The major downside to heastset is cost - it is significantly more expensive than coldset as it requires complex presses configured with large drying cabinets.

Coldset comes into its own when people are looking for an economical print alternative.
Virtually all newspapers are printed on coldset presses as it doesn't incur the added cost of running dryers.
Coldset is also more 'green' as it doesn't require the burning of any extra fuel to run the heaters.
Coldset is limited to standard typoes of paper - you can't print gloss stock on a coldset press.
